Fish Art

A snapper I think posing against the day (Contra Jour for our French visitors) We go to great lengths (and depths) to bring you the best.

The fish are back

Regular visitors to http://www.fishoftheweek.com/ (do we have any, please let me know by posting some comments) will have noticed the lack of fish recently. Well, were back for the Summer season with some more delights to wet your regulators.
Oh by the way, Pete caught a real beauty on May 11th. Congratulations to Pete and hopefully we shall see some underwater shots soon.

Cabbage Fishes

We are indeed very lucky to have received this stunning photograph in the FOTW mailbox this week. A rarely seen but aptly named cabbage fish. Where do you have to go to see these I hear you asking? Well a condition of being able to post this on FOTW was that we can not divulge there habitat. WWF have placed the cabbage fish on their most endanged species list. Truly a first for FOTW.

FOTW is Back

Regulars to fishoftheweek will no doubt have been a little disappointed since Christmas to discover that the FOTW week site has been rather quiet. FOTW staff have been busy with other aspects of their fishy lives. After all we are not nerds here at FOTW. Well we are back, with time on our hands and fish to drop on your desktop. A recent trip to the Caribbean has resulting in FOTW divers making a significant fish discovery. In the near future we hope to bring the first images of a never previously photographed species. Watch this space.......

Cornish Showcase - Spider Crab

Anyone tell which end is which? FOTW friends Katy and Gareth dodged surfers just off Newquay to grab this one.
Once again thanks for your cornish delights. Any chance of a piccy of a pasty or some clotted cream?
