If you go to Hurghada make sure you dive Careless reef. A top dive. Perhaps you need to be a bit lucky with the weather conditions but once you are down its heaving with wild life.Careless consists of two large pinnacles edged with a plateau around 18 m deep over which is spread a stunning coral garden. This in turn is edged by a drop off in to the deep blue. Situated further away from the coast it perhaps gets a fewer visitors than some of the other reefs. Excellent news that. So make the effort, get out there and get down. Careless was subject to a clean up operation when it became infected with Crown of Thorns.
